Good morning friends! Iโm sorry I have been so MIA lately. This new job is going great, but the self-quarantine literally has me climbing the walls! Iโm very fortunate to work for a company that has allowed 100% of their work force to work remotely. It has been a blessing.
Never fear, however. Although I have not been posting, I have been testing products and working on writing reviews. I have so many reviews in the draft state, itโs crazy.
During this time of isolation and no makeup, Iโve been able to try a different sheet mask daily and work on using up my stash. This week Iโve tried a number of masks from Mizonโs Joyful Time Essence line. Below is my review of the snail ๐ variety!

Mizon Joyful Time Essence Masks utilize a โmoisture gel matrixโ which holds the moisturizing & skin conditioning ingredients together in a hydrating mesh structure. This mask contains snail secretion filtrate to address a variety of skin concerns. This snail mask is good for skin lacking vitality & firmness. It hydrates, soothes & nourishes skin with a blend of emollients & humectants. It is free from sulfates, parabens & silicones. โฃ

I really like Mizonโs โฃJoyful Time Essence mask line. They are well made, effective & inexpensive. The fit on these masks is not bad. I did have to make cuts on the upper lip & chin area, but I always have to cut sheet masks in those two areas because they tend to be too wide for my face in those two spots. The adherence of this mask was great & I loved the texture of the sheet itself. It was thin, but not overly thin where I worried about tearing it when I opened the mask. I noticed immediately upon removing the mask, improved skin condition, improved texture & great hydration. My skin was soothed, much less red & nourished. This mask appeared to temporarily firm my skin & it gave my skin a nice, youthful glow. I love anything snail, & love that this mask contains snail mucin to encourage cell turnover & stimulate collagen synthesis. Snail mucin also helps to strengthen, tighten & enhance skinโs stretch & resilience. This mask contains other beneficial ingredients such as Betaine, which acts as a skin conditioning humectant that attracts & binds water to the skin. It contains Centella Asiatica extract, another extremely popular #kbeauty ingredient, which is a skin conditioning, soothing & smoothing ingredient that promotes wound healing. The mask also contains Houttuynia Cordata Extract, which is a skin conditioning ingredient & Propanediol, which is a glycol that can enhance the absorption of ingredients into the skin. Propanediol has hydrating properties that may leave a smooth, dewy finish on the skin.
Lastly, this mask contains collagen, allantoin & sodium hyaluronate. Collagen assists to smooth & condition skin. Allantoin is a skin protecting, soothing & conditioning ingredient.โฃ Sodium Hyaluronate holds 1,000 times its weight in water, making it an effective moisturizer. When it is applied to skin, it helps skin retain moisture. I will definitely repurchase this mask & masks from Mizonโs Joyful Time Essence mask line. While these masks do not produce life changing results, they are a nice, solid everyday kind of mask. โฃ
