đź–¤Review of Innisfree’s Purifying Jeju Volcanic Color Clay Maskđź–¤

Whether you experience an occasional break out or suffer from acne regularly, everyone needs a good clay mask in their arsenal. This mask is one of a few clay masks that I reach for when my skin’s in trouble. I particularly like that it is clarifying & purifying without being overly drying to my already dry skin. Sometimes I will just apply this mask to my chin & nose & sometimes I will apply it to my entire face. Below is my take on this mask staple.

🖤Product Information ℹ️

This clay mask contains Jeju volcanic scoria, which contains twice as many nutrients, giving it a much better ability to control sebum than mud or red clay. Innisfree’s color clay masks provide customizable skin solutions for different skin concerns. There are 7 different colors that address various skin concerns. I have most of them & use them as needed according to what is going on with my skin. The black mask is purifying & contains Jeju volcanic scoria & mud, to purify the skin & control sebum. Its dual-function clay texture transforms clay to foam upon contact with water, providing mask with cleansing functions.

đź–¤How to Useđź–¤

After cleansing, apply an appropriate amount on a dry face & smooth over the problem areas, avoiding eye and lip areas. After 5-10 minutes, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. This mask is safe to use 1-2 times a week.

đź–¤Highlighted Ingredient Jeju volcanic clustersđź–¤

Found nowhere else on earth, these naturally porous clusters are packed with minerals & have the ability to absorb excess oil, dirt & impurities from pores. During the time of volcanic eruptions on Jeju Island, hot lava fragments formed clusters as they solidified. Jeju volcanic clusters will visibly minimize pores. In addition to absorbing sebum, they are known to exfoliate dead skin. They have a rough texture and work to improve congested & enlarged pores.

đź–¤My Thoughts đź’

This gorgeous dark charcoal grey pearlescent mask comes in a black tube with a flip to open cap. It is easy to use & hygienic. It has absolutely no fragrance 🙏. The tube arrives housed in a simple, but elegant white & black box 📦 with information about the mask. I have normal to dry skin at the moment, but I still like to use a sebum controlling mask once a week as I find that it helps my skin to remain blackhead & whitehead free. This mask makes my skin feel fresh, unclogged, smooth & soft. It also exfoliates away dead skin that makes my skin appear dull. I’m genuinely impressed with a clay mask that does not make my skin feel tight during or after application. My skin actually feels somewhat hydrated after rinsing off this mask. I definitely notice a clarifying, brightening effect from this mask. My skin looks glowy, plump & healthy. I feel like it would work well with all skin types. You can find this mask on YesStyle for $7.96 which is super cheap in my opinion. With use 1-2 times per week, I feel this product will last 6 months at least.
