🍓This is one of my favorite, skin’s-in-crisis-fix-me masks. My skin ends up in crisis more often than I’d like due to Tretinoin & hydroquinone treatment. I never know when treatment is going to cause my skin to freak out. Every morning is different & I wish I knew exactly why that is the case. This mask to the rescue! This soothing, dreamy, creamy, delicious smelling mask is perfect on my red, irritated, reactive skin. I slather on a thick layer, let it sit for an hour or two before bed so that I don’t waste it on my pillow, & then leave it on overnight. I wake up to soothed, moisturized, bright, plump skin.
🍓𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧- This is an emollient & moisturizer rich sleeping mask for very dry, irritated skin. This mask nourishes the skin overnight. It contains a multiberry complex formulated with extracts from raspberries, blueberries, wolfberries, cranberries, & strawberries. This complex delivers abundant nutrition deep into the skin while antioxidants eliminate harmful free radicals. Sogurty, a specialized fermented yogurt, soothes the skin from troubles, protects the skin from harmful external aggressors, & promotes collagen production.
🍓𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐔𝐬𝐞- According to Laneige, this mask is to be left on for 10 or 20 minutes & then rinsed off. If you have dry, irritated skin, I recommend leaving this on overnight like a sleeping mask. I have also used it in the morning while I am having coffee on mornings when my skin is freaking out.
🍓𝐌𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 💭- As I said above, I am a huge fan of this mask. It is perfect for my skin. Because of the heavy moisturizers in this mask, it may not work as well for people prone to breakouts or people with oily skin. This mask features Cacao Seed Butter, Cetyl Alcohol, & Shea Butter. Not all alcohols in skincare are bad for the skin. Cetyl alcohol is a fatty alcohol, which is non-irritating & exceptionally beneficial for skin. As an emollient, Cetyl alcohol is considered an effective ingredient for soothing and healing dry skin. This mask is packaged in a gorgeous, light pink plastic jar & it comes with a clear spatula for hygienically applying the mask. I do wish it came in a tube rather than a jar. It smells delicious, like a strawberry milkshake. This mask absorbs quickly into my dry, irritated skin. It is moisturizing but not suffocating. It is not sticky & feels more like a nice, rich cream. It softens even the driest patches & banishes flakes. It helps to seal in all the steps of your skincare routine. I love this mask & will repurchase it. This mask is available at Laneige.com for $33.
